This new hose product is part of the Yardworks brand and product re-fresh. The hose has a gasket design with a leak-free promise and each end of the hose has a grip to ensure proper sealing. The hose itself is easier to manage, reduces kinks, and has improved durability.

Canadian Tire embarked on an initiative to reboot the Yardworks private label brand. As part of this initiative the category of outdoor watering was flagged as a key area for innovation.
The watering category was investigated through usability sessions and ethnographic research with consumers. Hose improvement along with a leak-free promise were identified as key areas for advancement. Swave developed a new hose product with dual handles and a leak-free gasket design.
The Yardworks hose was launched in Spring 2016 and was supported by nationwide TV commercials.
