Overview
This new line of MotoMaster Compact Compressors are specifically designed for automotive use. They have been designed with improved usability, automotive inspired styling and even have built-in safety features. The compressors are easy to operate, even for first time users. The solutions developed are designed for “Life in Canada,” maintaining high usability year round. This collection of compressors were developed to share an intuitive and consistent product language that communicates how they are used.
Problem
Canadian Tire wanted to re-think the MotoMaster line of light air compressors. The current product was quite dated and sales were essentially flat. Also the line did not visually tie together and looked like product from different brands.
Solution
Most of the compressor products were awkward to use and small parts often went missing. The functions of devices were also poorly laid out and communicated. New designs have cleaner and clearer ergonomics, clever on-board storage for components, and even built-in instructions. The product was styled to better reflect dynamic auto styling.
Results
The new product line has helped to build brand value within this category.
