Overview
The DUBSTEIN is the worlds first Bluetooth® speaker with drink integration. The DUBSTEIN is a splash proof Bluetooth® speaker combined with a versatile drink holder. The beverage insert can hold any liquid (hot or cold) or it can be swapped out to hold most bottles or cans. High quality stereo speakers and dual bass radiators combined with an effective acoustic chamber produce great sound. Opposing speakers project sound 360 degrees. The device is intended for effective outdoor listening and volume can go quite loud. The rechargeable battery keeps device going for up to 15 hours of playtime. Ergonomic thumb buttons allow for easy control of device.
Problem
Swave was approached to create a new type of portable speaker product. The challenge was to combine a high quality stereo speakers and drink integration.in a really engaging way.
Solution
Swave developed a mechanical design that accommodated different drink formats combined with an acoustic design that produces great sound. This functional design was fused with industrial design styling that combined sporty and tech with elegant high quality detailing.
Results
DUBGEAR launched with a product that visually engaged the customer with a high quality music player. The company is currently building market share via online retail channels.
