The inPower Bar is a “plug & play” modular counter system designed to provide a functional work and charging station for public spaces. Built into the inPower Bar legs are inPower Flex modules that provide AC and USB charging. A variety of leg panel finishes are available to suit any decor and also include back-lit signage panels for custom graphics.
The inPower Stool exceeds the demands of high-traffic waiting areas in passenger terminals, healthcare centers and public spaces. Complementing the look and feel of the inPower Bar, the inPower Stool was created using the same robust design and quality finishes. Swave designed this product to visually and functionally work with the inPower Bar table system.
Challenge
Arconas wanted to develop a counter height charging table system for public space applications. The table needed to incorperate the inPower Flex distributed power module.
Solution
To address modularity needs, a system of legs with sub panels was created. This supports a top frame that can accommodate a variety of materials. The plugs were mounted to allow for easy plug-in. Covers on the legs hide all the wiring and hardware that connects the table to the ground.
Results
The inPower Bar launched successfully and is now in use in many international airports across the globe. Additional enhancements have been added to make the product even more flexible.
